The work analyzes the most recent developments of the urban mobility sector in the Italian legal system. After having examined the relevant normative and jurisprudential indications formulated on the field of sharing and electric mobility, the survey focuses on the interesting “vehicle to grid” initiative, as a project aiming at promoting greater electrification of the sector exploiting the opportunities offered by digital technologies. Finally, some critical considerations are made about the role of local authorities in guiding the current digital transition of urban mobility.

Abstract
