Riappropriazioni e riconsiderazioni urbane in epoca Post-Pandemica: Un'analisi topologica dei nuovi spazi universitari

The pandemic has caused complex transformations, influencing every public and private dynamic. In light of the effects caused by COVID-19, this study has the aim of investigating, through a socio-semiotic analysis, the new processes of reconsideration and spatial re-semanticization updated by a new urban imaginary. In fact, the pandemic situation has stimulated a reflection on the importance of a relational vision of the world, in which nature and culture are thought of as two interdependent poles. The analysis will focus on the specific experiential practices present in different types of university spaces, the University of Palermo and that of Catania, particular cases on which we can perceive a form of continuity between nature and culture, offering us a projection of the affirmation of new processes of re-appropriation of the external environment, perceived as closer and safer.
