By playing down a rhetoric meant as a crystallization of forms of persuasion in written texts or in the interactions observed from the outside, it is implemented a bathmologic process – a disposition of degrees of language – in order to reveal the persuasive function produced in the interplay of flowing life and texts trying to fix it. Day life events taken into account show the intertwining of argumentation and narration, as well as the intersecting of some definitions of rhetoric (Barthes, Aristotle, Malinowski).

Abstract

By playing down a rhetoric meant as a crystallization of forms of persuasion in written texts or in the interactions observed from the outside, it is implemented a bathmologic process – a disposition of degrees of language – in order to reveal the persuasive function produced in the interplay of flowing life and texts trying to fix it. Day life events taken into account show the intertwining of argumentation and narration, as well as the intersecting of some definitions of rhetoric (Barthes, Aristotle, Malinowski).
