Edilizia Storica: Nuove esigenze e Prestazioni

The subject of regeneration of energy resources in historic buildings, in light of the new laws, proposes the abandoning of traditional approaches to a building’s performance in favour of an assessment of its quality with regard to energy and the environment, with a change in concepts and strategies inherent to sustainable construction. In support of the validity of this proposal, the project input will be geared towards achieving aims of environmental sustainability; they will be addressed to historical buildings and contexts, highlighting how interventions traditionally linked to recovery and restoration already implicitly contain many factors that can be shared with the criteria for sustainability. These, having been opportunely checked and calibrated, might then be proposed as a new approach to projects and evaluation.
