Abstract

Some recent taking place dynamics in Europe, investigate the theme of landscape fruition and enhancement in small towns through cultural paradigms directed to the preservation of places and awareness of walkers through new forms of sustainable tourism. The relationship with the heritage theme and experiential perception highlights the hypothesis of transforming the landscape through minimal interventions aimed at protecting and enhancing the man-made environment. The case study in the territory of the Municipality of Tindari is part of the network of pathways in Sicily, where the pleasure of contemplation and slow pace become design strategies to stimulate a new awareness of the potential of the territory. In this sense, the naturalistic richness and panoramic nature of the places define the new paths, as well as the access systems and spaces for resting systematized through a soil design guided by features of durability, easy maintenance and hydrogeological safety.
