The contribution is focused on the archival collection consisting of the 13 travel diaries of Beatrice Lanza and Branciforte (1825-1900), a Sicilian countess from one of the most important and ancient noble houses on the island. The diaries, along with other writings by her, are preserved in the Tasca d’Almerita family archive. Beatrice was the spouse of the first Tasca d’Almerita count. After the introduction providing context and presenting the producing entity, there are descriptions of the diaries, covering a chronological period from 1850 to 1899.
