Compimento della filosofia e cibernetica: Heidegger e Wiener a confronto

Considering the techno-scientific development, what role should philosophy play and what relationship should it have with the sciences of the modern world? Taking into account some of Martin Heidegger's considerations on the essence of the modern sciences, in this paper I propose the idea according to which these latter, in order to be truly beneficial to society, need philosophy as a discipline that thinks outside of them. Finally, I describe what seems to be the current opposite trend: a reductionist view of reality, according to which it can be interpreted as a mere process of information exchange, leading to the risk that philosophy may be replaced by cybernetics, inducing the human to have an unfree relationship with technology.
