Variación en el cumplimiento de las sentencias emitidas por la Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos

The main objective of this investigative analysis is the promotion of human rights and the democratization of the Latin American region, through the creation of a new monitoring tool for the sentences emitted by the Inter-American Court of Human Rights (I/A Court HR). A new approach is introduced to measure the rate of annual compliance with the sentences of the Inter-American Court, analyzing direct responsibility and indirect responsibility as new criteria. Consecutively, support is achieved for the work of supervising the sentences of the Inter-American Court to its member States, by emphasizing the importance that the Inter-Ame-rican Court orders reparations when there is a violation of human rights to compensate for the damage caused and from there, the value of their respective fulfillment.
