For a long time, gender equality has been absent among the goals of public procurement. Only recently, with the approval of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, the legislature has taken the first step on a path to ensure equal opportunities for men and women in public contracting. For this reason, this paper aims to analyze the different measures that, since the p.n.r.r., have been proposed to reduce existing gender inequalities in public procurement, paying a particular attention to the provisions that have been latterly introduced through the new Public Contracts Code, in order to promote the ambitious targets of Gender responsive public procurement.

Abstract
For a long time, gender equality has been absent among the goals of public procurement. Only recently, with the approval of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, the legislature has taken the first step on a path to ensure equal opportunities for men and women in public contracting. For this reason, this paper aims to analyze the different measures that, since the p.n.r.r., have been proposed to reduce existing gender inequalities in public procurement, paying a particular attention to the provisions that have been latterly introduced through the new Public Contracts Code, in order to promote the ambitious targets of Gender responsive public procurement.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
