The High School of Economics and Management of Health Systems of the Faculty of Economics of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, in collaboration with the Department of Life Sciences and Public Health (Hygiene Section) of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery “A. Gemelli”, Cerismas (Centre for Research and Studies in Healthcare Management), the Business Organization Group of the DiGES Department of Law, Economics and Sociology of the University of Magna Graecia of Catanzaro, and the Research Center on Leadership in Medicine of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery “A. Gemelli" of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, has published a weekly report to systematically and comparatively analyze the response models adopted by the Regions in response to the Covid-19 emergency, starting from the epidemiological analysis of the evolution of the pandemic. The aim of this work is to present a summary of the evidence collected over the last 10 months and merged into 32 Instant Reports. The intent is to provide an overall reading of the evolution of the pandemic in Italy and an analysis of the response methods adopted by the National Health Service (NHS), the Regions and the SSN companies. This work presents the results deriving from the application of three different sets of indicators that correspond to the analysis system applied in the Instant Report Altems (i) to phase 1, (ii) to the post lockdown phase, and (iii) to the second wave, respectively . The evidence is structured in different sections, distributed in two macro areas: the first is dedicated to epidemiological and contagion monitoring indicators; the second focuses on the response of health systems to the pandemic over the past 10 months. This second part in turn is divided into different subsections dedicated to the different facets of the response of health systems, at central, regional and local levels. The analysis aims to offer a transversal reading of the NHS's response methods to the two waves that have characterized the pandemic so far, providing elements for reflection for the management of healthcare companies and policy makers at national and regional level.
