Scrivere di storia, ragionare di architettura

The re-edition of Guido Di Stefano's writings, combining historical studies and reflections on the theme of heritage protection, intends to bring back to the attention of the scientific community a selection of texts that allows to reconstruct the intellectual journey of a leading figure in the cultural debate on architecture and historic cities in Sicily, in the decades between the first and second half of the twentieth century. For writings on the history of architecture, the selection was also guided by the recognition of the key role played by some contributions in the historiographical reflection around specific moments and themes in the history of architecture in Sicily.
