This chapter focuses on a model for the investigation of news spreading in a network. We distinguish between two versions of a single information: the original, accurate version (referred to as good news), and a biased, altered version (fake news). These two types of news are transmitted among the agents in the network, with each agent receiving and spreading their own version. Our goal is to understand the dynamics of this news spreading and to determine under which conditions good news prevails over fake news. Our methodology adopts ladder fermionic operators, which are effective in modeling the interactions between the agents and the dispersion of information in the system.

Abstract
This chapter focuses on a model for the investigation of news spreading in a network. We distinguish between two versions of a single information: the original, accurate version (referred to as good news), and a biased, altered version (fake news). These two types of news are transmitted among the agents in the network, with each agent receiving and spreading their own version. Our goal is to understand the dynamics of this news spreading and to determine under which conditions good news prevails over fake news. Our methodology adopts ladder fermionic operators, which are effective in modeling the interactions between the agents and the dispersion of information in the system.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
