This chapter deals with the challenges of post-covid remote work and discusses the notion of 'south working' as it was recently introduced in the Italian political debate. By employing critical discourse analysis and discussing the case study of Castelbuono (Palermo), the chapter aims at answering the following research question: is it possible to find a form of incentivizing 'work from the South' that does not just cause gentrification?
