Gli studenti del “Danilo Dolci” in tempi di pandemia

The author returns the most significant results of an empirical research which had the objective of monitoring whether, and to what extent, the restrictions adopted to counter the effects of the pandemic generated by covid-19 had had negative repercussions on psychological well-being -physicist of the students of the “Danilo Dolci” high school of linguistics and human sciences. The questionnaire used as an information collection tool made it possible to collect a very wide range of data on the effects produced, in the adolescents interviewed, by the health emergency both in the specific context of their school attendance and in that of their family and social sphere. In particular, this essay provides a fairly exhaustive picture of the socio-demographic characteristics of the students interviewed, their state of mind during the emergency, as well as some interesting points of view on the topic of distance learning and on that of schools open to territory. The last part of this contribution is, however, dedicated to a reflection which - starting from the health crisis due to the covid-19 emergency - invites us to adopt a critical approach on globalization processes, on the methods of social interaction strongly shaped by digital platforms and on the pervasiveness of power in defining the forms of being associated.

L’autore restituisce i risultati più significativi di una ricerca empirica che si era posta l’obiettivo di monitorare se, e in che misura, le restrizioni adottate per contrastare gli effetti della pandemia generata dal covid-19, avessero avuto ricadute negative sul benessere psico-fisico degli studenti del liceo linguistico e delle scienze umane “Danilo Dolci”. Il questionario utilizzato come strumento di raccolta delle informazioni ha consentito di raccogliere una gamma molto ampia di dati sugli effetti prodotti, negli adolescenti intervistati, dalla emergenza sanitaria sia nell’ambito specifico della loro frequenza scolastica, sia in quello della loro sfera familiare e sociale. In particolare, questo saggio fornisce un quadro abbastanza esaustivo delle caratteristiche socio-anagrafiche degli studenti intervistati, del loro stato d’animo durante l’emergenza, nonché di alcuni interessanti punti di vista sul tema della didattica a distanza e su quello delle scuole aperte al territorio. L’ultima parte di questo contributo è, invece, dedicata ad una riflessione che – partendo dalla crisi sanitaria dovuta all’emergenza covid-19 – inviti ad adottare un approccio critico sui processidi globalizzazione, sulle modalità di interazione sociale fortemente modellate dalle piattaforme digitali e sulla pervasività del potere nel definire le forme dello stare associato.
