The following paper intends to read the French thinker Gilbert Simondon’s two doctoral theses, by putting them in relation to trace what the author of the research defines as a new philosophy of nature. This is a first step in a research that promises to be complex because of the profound relationships Simondon weaved with the major thinkers of his time, such as Maurice Merleau-Ponty, George Canguilhem and Norbert Wiener. The step taken in this contribution is to outline the lines of research by showing the strong link between technology and nature in Simondon’s thought.

Abstract
The following paper intends to read the French thinker Gilbert Simondon’s two doctoral theses, by putting them in relation to trace what the author of the research defines as a new philosophy of nature. This is a first step in a research that promises to be complex because of the profound relationships Simondon weaved with the major thinkers of his time, such as Maurice Merleau-Ponty, George Canguilhem and Norbert Wiener. The step taken in this contribution is to outline the lines of research by showing the strong link between technology and nature in Simondon’s thought.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
