Within an architectural practice that aims to explore new forms and processes capable of mitigating the effects of climate change, the article highlights how the forms of water - in contemporary architectural design - can resist climate change in the Mediterranean context. The first part of the article examines water and its inherent consequences, in climate change, on architecture and living. In the second part, the article investigates the theme of resistance as a necessary response to climate change. Finally, the article describes the forms of water as grafts – to the process of resistance to change – in contemporary architectural design.
