Il rapporto tra il colore bianco e l’architettura è inseparabile dall’evoluzione culturale ma è anche profondamente radicato nei materiali, nella storia delle tecniche e nel progresso tecnologico della costruzione. Oggigiorno i materiali sono progetto in sé e qualificano lo spazio con le loro qualità percettive, giocando un ruolo decisivo nelle sperimentazioni spaziali e linguistiche.
