Angela Lattanzi and Filippa Maria Aliberti are two interesting twentieth-century figures who add their activities as civil servants – devoted to heritage protection – to research and study in the field, operating in two different cultural and geographical contexts, from Sicily to Veneto passing through Rome. Taking advantage of the common Sicilian citizenship’ by birth or adoption, through the contribution of published and unpublished sources, the salient features of the period spent on the Sicily are reconstructed, which for one coincides with the mature activity and the second matrimonial experience, while for the other with childhood and school and university training, determining future orientations, propensities and choices.
Angela Lattanzi e Filippa Maria Aliberti sono due interessanti figure del ’900 che sommano l’attività di funzionarie statali – votate alla tutela del patrimonio – alla ricerca e allo studio sul campo, operando in due diversi contesti culturali e geografici, dalla Sicilia al Veneto passando per Roma. Approfittando della comune ‘cittadinanza’ siciliana per nascita o per adozione, attraverso l’apporto di fonti edite ed inedite, si ricostruiscono i tratti salientidel periodo trascorso sull’Isola, che per l’una coincide con l’attività matura e la seconda esperienza matrimoniale, mentre per l’altra con l’infanzia e la formazione scolastica e universitaria, determinando orientamenti, propensioni e decisioni future.
