The traditional function of Agriculture to produce food, today is substituted by multifunctional role in which the farm businessman becomes protagonist of territorial management an environmental preservation. Besides, the consumers orient increasingly their choices towards products obtained by a low land''s exploitation. The aim of paper is to highlight the technical bonds and the opportunities of organic orange cultivation. The study has regarded a sample of conventional an organic orange farms locaded in the Ribera area (AG), that is well-known for the cultivation of blonde orange. Microeconomic unalysis, through determination of production costs end principal economic parameters, has showed the strong and weak points of organic orange cultivation, making a comparison with conventional cultivation’s method.
