This chapter describes two research-action experiences that the authors have carried out over the last few years and which are linked to the themes of the Laboratorio del Cammino, as they frequently use the neighborhood walk technique as a tool for territorial knowledge and basis for a participatory planning of the neighborhood itself. The activities described stem from the many years of cooperation between the Department of Architecture of the University of Palermo and the School Department of the Municipality of Palermo. The experiences made within this collaboration constitute the scientific substratum that has allowed the writers to export the methodology in other initiatives that were born thanks to collaborations with other institutions and carried out also through European funding. The results achieved so far show how the interaction between young students from schools and universities can be strengthened thanks to the idea of walking together through the streets of a neighborhood.
