The essay is dedicated to the particular meaning that the vulnerability-resilience nexus has assumed in development cooperation policies, to observe how neoliberal governmentality regulates lives on the global scene today, its implications in terms of subjectivation, and the forms of life it validates and those that disqualify. Particular attention is paid to the neoliberal turn of the concepts of vulnerability and resilience, to the securitization processes, and precariousness of the lives generated by the abandonment practices in terms of lack of social protection and political recognition.

Abstract
The essay is dedicated to the particular meaning that the vulnerability-resilience nexus has assumed in development cooperation policies, to observe how neoliberal governmentality regulates lives on the global scene today, its implications in terms of subjectivation, and the forms of life it validates and those that disqualify. Particular attention is paid to the neoliberal turn of the concepts of vulnerability and resilience, to the securitization processes, and precariousness of the lives generated by the abandonment practices in terms of lack of social protection and political recognition.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
