The debate about the future of social housing in Europe is currently more lively compared to earlier years. The housing demand in general and social housing in particular are intense. They are increasingly worrying the concentration of most of the social housing in the most disadvantaged areas and the low economic levels of tenants living in these apartments. This contribute explores the state of fact of social and urban policies in some European countries, in order to offer an exhaustive framework of the variegated situation.
