The path of Stefano Asili is strange and tortuous, but not for this it is less interesting. He did not, like most people usually do, carry out studies which naturally led him to his final professional configuration. He came from afar, from a scientific discipline such as physics, in which he graduated, to understand that what he wanted to do in his life, it was the craft of the graphic designer, as Albe Steiner defined it. I emphasize 'craft' and not 'profession' for a substantial reason, in fact in this definition it is revised, in an almost artisanal dimension, the close relationship between the man (homo faber) and the object (obiectum), which, in an exchange of ideas, research, testing and changes, conducted as a non-stop dialogue between the two, it becomes absolutely central to the practice of the craft.

Abstract
The path of Stefano Asili is strange and tortuous, but not for this it is less interesting. He did not, like most people usually do, carry out studies which naturally led him to his final professional configuration. He came from afar, from a scientific discipline such as physics, in which he graduated, to understand that what he wanted to do in his life, it was the craft of the graphic designer, as Albe Steiner defined it. I emphasize 'craft' and not 'profession' for a substantial reason, in fact in this definition it is revised, in an almost artisanal dimension, the close relationship between the man (homo faber) and the object (obiectum), which, in an exchange of ideas, research, testing and changes, conducted as a non-stop dialogue between the two, it becomes absolutely central to the practice of the craft.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
