The paper describes the contribution of the Palermo Research Unit to the exhibition “Rome 20-25. New Life Cycles for the Metropolis”, which opened on 18th December 2015 in the Claudia Gian Ferrari room of the MAXXI Museum in Rome, was a valuable opportunity for discussion with the other 24 international universities that took part in the project. For a month, the exhibition was also an opportunity to show the public the results of the Rome 20-25 project, a month in which visitors could observe the 25 projects proposed for Rome, consult on the future of the city and on their potential as players in the process, while appreciating the wealth of different visions, thoughts, approaches, and languages that each school brought with it and expressed in its own exhibition space.
