Abstract

Talking about sustainability for a technologist is a subject of almost daily interest, as there is activity related to the processing and training processes that today should not have to deal with the needs and demands of an increasingly growing and changing, but even more with environmental contexts that need to be protected and protected. The transformation process for those reasons will come into full harmony with the environment, without altering the balance that regulate the available resources provided by nature itself. To trigger, then, empathy between man / designer and nature must be activated in the near future of knowledge and experimentation processes conducive to the proper development of our urbanized cores, land and landscape. The 3rd BioLaboratorio, entitled "Water. Green architecture and territory in the new climate and energy scenarios, held on 18-19 December 2015, Alcamo, organized by the Section INBAR (National Institute of Bio Architecture) of Trapani, it wanted to emphasize that the water can no longer be considered an unlimited resource and renewable, dealing with the participation of distinguished scholars and designers the issues related to the binding of ancient memory of Architecture and Water, especially as regards the Mediterranean region.
