SVILUPPO E INTEGRAZIONE DI FILIERA. IL FUTURO DELL’IMPRESA ITTICA SICILIANA

The activities of the company that operates in the fishing industry do not depend only on its capacity and its strategies, but are influenced, directly or indirectly, also by the actions of the different actors operating within the supply chain in which it operates. This paper briefly examines the role of these actors in Sicily and then proposes two case studies, that of the "Progetto Manifattura di Rovereto" and that of the Fisch Markt of Hamburg as examples to be used to address the incentives for the integration processes of the fisheries value chain and in the perspective of overcoming a logic of mere "survival" of Sicilian enterprises.

Le attività dell’impresa che opera nel settore ittico non dipendono solo dalla sue capacità e dalle sue strategie, ma sono influenzate, direttamente o indirettamente, anche dalle azioni dei diversi attori che operano all’interno della filiera in cui essa opera. Il presente contributo prende in esame brevemente il ruolo di tali attori in Sicilia per poi proporre due casi studio, quello del Progetto Manifattura di Rovereto e quello del Fisch Markt di Amburgo come esempi a cui ispirarsi nell’incentivazione dei processi di integrazione della filiera ittica siciliana e nella prospettiva del superamento di una logica di mera “sopravvivenza” delle sue imprese.
