I Futuristi e l’estetica della guerra

Using the anthropological interpretations offered by Roger Callois and Gaston Bouthoul, this paper focuses on the category of the “war-feast”. This work will demonstrate that for Futurists the war is not only a topic related to the historical contingency, but becomes an aesthetic category on which to base a renewed vision of the world. This aim will be achieved through an aesthetic and educational project that includes various arts (literature, painting, sculpture, theater, cinema) but is also extended to all aspects of life, even the most domestic and daily, such as toys and clothing.

Il presente lavoro, utilizzando le chiavi di lettura antropologiche offerte da Roger Callois e Gaston Bouthoul, mette a fuoco la categoria della guerra-festa, e dimostra come la guerra per i Futuristi non sia semplicemente un argomento connesso alla contingenza storica, ma divenga una categoria estetica su cui fondare una rinnovata visione del mondo. Questo obiettivo potrà essere realizzato attraverso un progetto estetico-educativo che non solo include diverse forme artistiche (dalla letteratura alle produzioni plastico-figurative, dal teatro al cinema) ma si estende a tutti gli aspetti della vita, anche quelli più domestici e quotidiani, come i giocattoli e l’abbigliamento.
