This article is an analysis of the sacred space of Monte Pellegrino in Palermo, on a narrative perspective. It focuses on three places in particular, the shrine of Santa Rosalia, a castle overlooking the town of Palermo, and a viewpoint for tourists and citizens overhanging the sea. This mountain represents the deep identity of the town of Palermo. Studying its semiotic form means, then, getting into the identity of the town itself through the tales and the spaces which constitutes it as a meaningful scenario.
