The volume critically and interdisciplinarily examines the impact of digital technologies on the everyday lives of children aged 0–6. Moving beyond sterile rhetorics of control and censorship, it foregrounds educational mediation as an intentional practice capable of supporting children's rights to expression, play, and participation, while also protecting them from the excesses of datafication and commodification within the platform society. Particular attention is devoted to building educational environments that recognize children as active subjects endowed with agency, including in digital contexts. At the same time, the volume reflects on the digital and media competences caregivers need to ensure that children's media experiences foster harmonious development. Through both theoretical and practice-oriented contributions, the book addresses educators, teachers, parents, and scholars, offering tools to interpret and transform the digital as an opportunity for growth, active citizenship, and social justice from early childhood onward.

Abstract
Through both theoretical and practice-oriented contributions, the book addresses educators, teachers, parents, and scholars, offering tools to interpret and transform the digital as an opportunity for growth, active citizenship, and social justice from early childhood onward.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
