This volume collects the proceedings of Living Ecosystems. Climate, Ecology, Food and Well-being, the international conference held in Agrigento on 11-12 March 2026 at the "Pietro Griffo" Regional Archaeological Museum, within the Archaeological and Landscape Park of the Valley of the Temples. The guiding question is whether technology – and the design that shapes it – can be oriented towards care rather than domination: ecology is understood not as nostalgia for an untouched nature, but as a problem of making, of how things are produced, used and discarded. The two sessions move from the conceptual coordinates of the theme – planetary boundaries, design in permanent transition, the techno-anthropological circle – to food as the ordinary ground where ecology, culture, technology and well-being meet three times a day. The contributions are offered not as settled knowledge but as hypotheses open to discussion.

Abstract
The contributions are offered not as settled knowledge but as hypotheses open to discussion.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
