This work focusses on the development and application of soft-computing methods, in conjunction with data from Micro-ElectroMechanical Systems (MEMS) sensors networks, for the structural health monitoring of historical buildings. In particular, a custom numerical framework is implemented with the aims of reading and analysing the sensors stress data, from experimental investigation, to retrieve the loads acting and structural changes (i.e. failure mechanism).
Questo lavoro si concentra sullo sviluppo e l'applicazione di metodi di soft-computing, in combinazione con dati provenienti da reti di sensori MEMS, per il monitoraggio strutturale di edifici storici. In particolare, un metodo di soft-computing customizzato per l'analisi dei dati di monitoraggio, in questo caso da dati sperimentali, è stato implementato per individuare carichi agenti e possibili meccanismi di danno all'interno delle strutture in muratura.
