Abstract
The revealing path is an opportunity to question the space and imagine its potential. More than offering answers, it invites a critical reading of reality by capturing traces and relationships. The city is a place to live, explore and transform. Through the dialogue between theory and practice, architecture becomes an instrument of interpretation and change. Uncertainties and memories intertwine between innovation and symbolic value, they redefine our relationship with the inhabited space. The text represents the result of research on the spatiality of the built fabric, a revealing journey that is divided into two levels of reading. On the one hand, it aims to ‘reveal’ rules and the dynamics they govern the construction and living of spaces; on the other, it explores how these rules manifest themselves concretely in the built environment, identifying the elements in the crossing path and in the connection to the ground timely project generators. The objective is to make explicit urban fragments that have already been analysed in design research experiences, they offer a platform for discussion to reflect on the theme of crossing the urban fabric and the interaction with the inhabited buildings. The subtitle: The cities we live in: traces, uncertainties, and design practices refers to the relationship between theory and practice. If theory provides principles and guidelines, practice allows them to be experimented and transformed into tangible realities. Planning is never a linear act, but a continuous exchange between theoretical knowledge and the practical challenges of the context. The architect is constantly confronted with doubts, uncertainties and unresolved questions, measuring himself with the complexity of reality.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
