The thesis is designed as an exploratory work that gathers all the main and recent studies on how to use smartphones and social networks in the educational field. Many existing publications do not offer a single methodological application model, which is the primary result of this research. In an increasingly digitalized society, Mobile Learning and Social Learning Networks are pedagogical and didactic contributions that are challenging certain established beliefs in the world of education and instruction. With the widespread adoption of mobile technologies, the question arose of how to systematize and utilize these new devices and their apps for educational processes. The methodological model "Edu-social Algorithm" aims to address this new question through pedagogically inspired guidelines that further propose smartphones and social networks as resources for education. "Take your smartphone and educate" was created with the goal of providing educators and trainers of Generation Alpha with pathways within Instagram to develop virtual communities of practice and consciously inhabit the digital space.
