Abstract
In many countries, the evaluation of research is performed by public agencies, that produce an assessment of the activities carried out by universities and other High Education Institute (HEIs). This assessment is important since the allocation of public funds is based on this information. In our contribution, we are using neural networks to predict this evaluation, and comparing our results with linear models proposed by the existing literature. Results show that our approach can effectively predict the research evaluation performed in the UK.File in questo prodotto:
