The volume, set up in honor of Domenica Perrone, collects contributions of different slant (essays, didactic interventions, testimonials) on a shared work theme: the representation of the house in modern and contemporary literature. The house therefore acquires the value of a privileged space of figurative precipitation, in which the founding nuclei of the literary work are deposited; deciphering the many meanings that lie behind its walls allows access to the author's inventive workshop and to observe the secret life of the characters.
