The volume collects the texts of the introductory lessons of Islamic culture held in Mazara del Vallo in 2019 with the aim of proposing to the reader topics of a scientific level but informative. The frame is that of a context that wishes to make known and keep alive an ancient bond with the inhabitants who came from a shore that is not meant to be defined as "opposite", but rather cross-border and that crosses us daily and intersects with us.

Il volume raccogliei testi delle lezioni introduttive di Cultura islamica tenutesi a Mazara del Vallo nel 2019 con l'intento di proporre al lettore degli argomenti di livello scientifico ma di carattere divulgativo. La cornice è quella di un contesto che desidera far conoscere e tenere vivo un antico legame con gli abitanti giunti da una sponda che non si vuole definire "opposta", ma piuttosto transfrontaliera e che quotidianamente ci attraversa e con noi si interseca.
