The architectural drawing has, among its objectives, to "show" the space, both in its temporal variations, and in those descriptive of shapes, light, colors and materials, connotative characters that try to reproduce through coded methods of projection and changing representation techniques. Among the computer representation techniques immersive visualization allows you to rotate the eye, in real time, inside a space, trying to overcome the limitations of the plane representation, simulating the spheric vision of space. The technique can be used either to see the existing reality, thanks to photographic images, either to see a reality built in a digital scene. The proposed system allows the interactive navigation of many immersive overlapped images, in which, thanks to the recognition of the homologous points in the different images, an effect of continuity is obtained, during navigation among the several views: the result is a navigation in which you can perceive and overlay information about a space, in its temporal variation (past, present and future) and different techniques of representation. The fields of application range from that of archaeological reconstructions, where it overlaps the current status with the original one, to that of architectural design, in which we can assume to see a place and its future transformation, or to see it the design variations of materials. The application of this technique is able to structure a semantic system in which you choose the level of information you want to communicate and on which axis, temporal or descriptive, represent reality.
