Un disegno smart per Palermo

Recently, the concept of smart cities has shaped the idea of sustainable and thinking cities. What are the conditions for sustainable and intelligent urban development? The smart projects for Palermo, linked to mobility, to urban requalification and energetic efficiency, aim at the application of new technologies in order to make the digital city more interactive, efficient and smart, proposing a new plan for the public city constituted by Living Lab, Open Data, crowdsourcing and plans on the creation of spaces managed in real time, through ICTs. The article highlights the new smart models and services that the city of Palermo is proposing in order to improve its own urban reality and become an intelligent city, aiming to develop and exchange experiences in order to plan its own development together with the smart cities of the future.

Negli ultimi anni, il concetto di smart city tenta di creare un’idea di città sostenibile e pensante. Quali sono le condizioni per uno sviluppo urbano sostenibile intelligente? I progetti smart per Palermo, legati alla mobilità, alla riqualificazione urbana e all’efficienza energetica mirano all’applicazione di nuove tecnologie per rendere la città digitale più interattiva, efficiente e smart, caratterizzando il disegno della città pubblica di Living Lab, Open Data, crowdsourcing e progetti sulla creazione di spazi gestiti in tempo reale attraverso ICTs. L’articolo metterà in luce i nuovi modelli e i servizi smart che la città di Palermo sta proponendo per migliorare la propria realtà urbana e trasformarsi in una città smart tesa a sviluppare e scambiare esperienze pianificando il proprio sviluppo insieme alle smart cities del futuro.
