George Canning: un Tory dalla politica progressista

An analysis of the premiership of George Canning, appointed on 10 April 1827, and an examination of his education and his political career before and after Pitt, paying close attention to his standing in government, and his relationship with both the Sovereign and with Parliament. His appointment as Prime Minister was significant at the time as it caused a divide in the current political system, succeeding in uniting those who, not satisfied with either party, sat in the ranks of both Tory and Whig.
