Una ricerca interculturale in Sicilia: l'innamoramento vissuto dagli adolescenti tunisini nati a Mazara del Vallo

In this contribution, the process of a research started in 2009 is presented. The problem of affective education of teenagers emerges when the first falling in love occurs. This phenomenon shows how the education of feelings so far has developed and presupposes what is necessary doing to complete it. We wanted to investigate the way in which the first falling in love of the Tunisian teenagers born in Sicily, and the changes that this phenomenon causes in adolescents who live it and in their immediate social environment. This is been made with an instrument (the interview) which doesn’t go deep enough, but merely recognises the sincerity of answers. The achieved results throgout data analysis are presented after mentioning the way in which the informations about them have been gathered. This research is a pilot study aimed at developing methodology, research tools and hypotheses for carrying out a research with a wider sample. The ultimate aim of the research is to verify what needs to be integrated into the guidelines so far pursued with regard to the education of adolescents falling in love for a person of the other sex, taking into account human nature and cultural changes.

Si presenta una ricerca avviata nell’autunno del 2009. Il problema dell’educazione affettiva degli adolescenti emerge quando avviene il primo innamoramento. Tale fenomeno mostra come sia andata fino a quel momento l’educazione dei sentimenti e lascia presupporre che cosa bisogna ancora fare per portarla a compimento. Si è voluto indagare, sia pure con uno strumento che non scava in profondità ma si accontenta della sincerità delle risposte, il modo in cui gli adolescenti tunisini nati in Sicilia vivono il fenomeno del primo innamoramento e i cambiamenti che tale fenomeno determina negli adolescenti che lo vivono e nel loro più immediato intorno sociale. Si espongono i risultati relativi agli adolescenti tunisini dopo aver fatto un accenno al modo con cui si sono raccolte le informazioni su di loro. La ricerca in questione è un’indagine pilota mirante a mettere a punto la metodologia, gli strumenti di ricerca e le ipotesi in vista di una ricerca con un campione più ampio. L’intento finale della ricerca è verificare che cosa bisogna integrare negli orientamenti finora seguiti riguardo all’educazione degli adolescenti all’amore per una persona dell’altro sesso, tenendo conto della natura umana e dei cambiamenti culturali.
