The hydatid cyst is a parasitic disease mainly caused by Echinococcus granulosus. One of the most frequent complications of hepatic hydatid disease is rupture of cysts into the bile ducts, but only a few case reports to our knowledge described MRCP observations of biliary rupture. We expose the main MRI imaging findings of intrabiliary rupture of hepatic hydatid cyst.
